I need to work on drinking more water. I average around 20floz. but that’s definitely not enough. Maybe that would help.

1/23/12: 190lbs.

Well paint me surprised. Mike was fucking right I did drop 2 pounds.

I’m ecstatic. 

1/22/12: 192.4lbs.

Mike swears my “fat day” will boost my metabolism and tomorrow I’ll be down two pounds. I’m not hopefully but today I’m back to my normal healthy foods. Lots of fruits and veggies, one serving of whole grains and lean protein. 

Starting in February I’m only going to weigh myself once a week because I think I’m torturing myself.

1/21/12: 191.2lbs.

Mike thinks having a binge day will shock my metabolism and help me break this plateau. 

1/20/12: 191lbs.

Seriously?

I had a vegetable smoothie for lunch and a mother fucking salad for dinner. 

It’s getting really hard to stay motivated when you’re body isn’t responding to the fact that you’re only eating the healthiest foods possible.

1/19/12: 191.8lbs

UGH.

I ate ridiculously healthy yesterday. I didn’t even have a single bite of something that wasn’t on my diet plan.

I’ve come to the conclusion that this is more a problem with the fact that I can’t remember the last time I pooped

1/18/12: 191.2lbs.

I’m really ready to be out of the 190’s and into the 180’s.

Today will be lots of fresh fruit, no dairy and white chicken chili for dinner. 

P2D17 - 185.3

For three days my body has hovered just above 185.  I’m done with this. Today is my last day of drops and I can start P3 on Sunday.  My energy has been super low and I haven’t had a BM for a week. I reached my ultimate goal in this phase (changing my relationship with food) and now ready for some Paleo love.

I bought the book Well Fed.  It’s gorgeous and intense. The amount of meat necessary to eat Paleo is inconceivable to me right now. I’m not sticking to Paleo 100% (I need peanut butter),  but I think I can do a lot of it.

Hasta la vista drops!

1/17/12: 191lbs.

Wooo.

New lowest weight.

1/16/12: 192.4lbs.

Most of that is wine.

P2D15 - 185.2

One more week of this shit.  

I started planning for phase 3 over the weekend, which is basically a Paleo diet (no starches or sugars). As I read up on it, many suggested a structured re-entry into normality and introducing foods slowly back into your system. Here’s my schedule:

Step 1 - 3 days

Just add fat and increase protein: Lots of meat (all kinds), Add oil, cream, butter, Coconut Milk, Fruit stay the same, Only P2 veggies – increase amount

Step 2 - Add Additional veggies: Peppers, broccoli, green beans, cauliflower, summer squash, avocado, mushrooms, olives, sprouts, 

Step 3 – Eggs

Step 4 – Greek yogurt

Step 5 – Additional fruits - low glycemic

Step 6 – Nuts - brazil, pecans, macadamia, coconut, almond milk

Step 7 – SF chocolates, cocoa, Stevia, Cocoa crack

Step 8  - Protein bar/shake

Step 9 - Hard liquor, Wine

When I wasn’t planning food, I was making food.  I even made some Salted Chocolate Pretzel Bark…just to smell sugar and butter and chocolate. Now I need to get this stuff out of my house.

I stop the pregger drops on Thursday and have to wait 72 hours until Monday to start eating “regularly” again. 

1/15/12: 191.6lbs.

Ok then.

P2D13: 187.3

Down 1.5 in the last two days.  Slowly but surely.

I can’t lie, playing poker last night surrounded by home brew and snacks galore was hard.  But I took a lot of their money making me feel a little better about the self imposed deprivation.

1/14/12: 191.6lbs.

It was good to see a new number.

1/13/12: 192.8lbs.
